Talene’s culinary journey encompasses the realms of food writing, recipe development, and experiential pop-up events, with a flair for crafting captivating narratives, delectable recipes, and bringing brand identities to life. Her expertise extends to collaborations on magazine features, and digital content, as well as the creation of distinctive culinary events.

Born and raised in an arts and agriculture hub in central New Jersey, Talene embarked on writing and cooking early in life, exploring her imagination on paper and in the kitchen one bite at a time. Her Armenian family's passion for food and travel ignited her lifelong pursuit of exceptional dining experiences around the world. This fervor for the culinary arts is matched only by her love for documenting experiences on paper (or, ahem, a keyboard).

Talene’s educational journey took her to George Washington University, where she graduated with a degree in nutrition and fitness before diving into the world of food and wellness. Her culinary odyssey began with an opportunity crafting patient nutrition content at a prominent cancer research association, where she honed her skills in writing and editing engaging, accurate copy for conferences, events, educational programs, and social media posts while maintaining a strong brand voice. Her transition into food journalism followed shortly after, as she began crafting engaging food and wellness stories for newspapers and magazines that aligned more closely with her personal passions and knowledge.

Her editorial prowess is further evident from her current role as an editor at publication Men’s Health, where she leads digital food and wellness branded content. She has also lent her culinary and health insights to publications like Women’s Health, The Food Institute, and The Nessie. Talene’s expertise extends to both covering news across the world of food and wellness and crafting the voice of established brands.

Beyond her authorship, Talene’s contributions to the culinary world extend to recipe development and executing experiential culinary private and pop-up events in collaboration with Sluce Productions. She collaborates closely with clients, crafting promotional materials and developing menus that elevate their events and brand identities. Her reach extends to establishments across the United States, encompassing bakeries, coffee shops, collaborative workspaces, and galleries.

She currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
